This week's MANor Candy Monday is the lovely Georgian manor, Paxton House, in Paxton, Berkwickshire, in the Scottish Borders region of the UK. This extravagant country house was built between 1758 and 1766 in an attempt to woo a Prussian heiress. The courting was unsuccessful, but the beautiful home still remains.
