Today's MANor Candy is the romantic ruins of 11th century Peveril Castle in Castleton, Derbyshire, England, UK. It's located in the Peak District, and is also known as Castleton Castle and Peak Castle. The day we visited Peveril on our 2010 Trip to the UK, it was rainy and gloomy, and so our pictures did not turn out so well. But I was able to find a few better shots online.
